R E S T

R E L E A S E + R E S T is a seven-week group class that provides an opportunity for embodiment and release through Holosomatic Body Therapy and deep rest and relaxation through the ancient tantric meditation practice of Yoga Nidra.

Holosomatic Body Therapy combines conscious connected breathwork, movement therapy, body mapping, bodywork, and energy healing. These powerful healing modalities will take you on your own personal healing journey. You will learn how to truly embody your body, reveal and release stuck energy and blockages.

Yoga Nidra is a full-body guided meditation practice that provides an opportunity for your mind and body to deeply rest and rejuvenate. Yoga nidra can help reduce burnout, alleviate depression, help process difficult emotions and accelerate healing of mind and body, deepen your connection to your intuition, creative power and psychic abilities.

The first week is focused primarily on embodiment through deep meditation practices, gentle breathwork and journalling. We lay the foundations for our holosomatic body therapy practice - becoming really aware of how our bodies feel in this deeply relaxed state (when our parasympathetic nervous system is switched on). In week 2, we begin some gentle activations of the sympathetic nervous system, and in weeks 3 - 7, we move into deeper somatic activations. We will finish each session with a yoga nidra meditation.

Participants will also have access to recordings of our meditations and yoga nidra practices.

“As someone who has spent much of life feeling somewhat disembodied, Lorna’s approach has been profoundly grounding. She holds an incredibly safe and supportive space, allowing me to tune in, listen, and reconnect with myself in a way that feels both gentle and transformative.”

—Erin, previous participant

“Each session takes you on a journey of self-discovery, while being guided without pressure, it was the ideal start to my first holosomatic experience. I’ve learnt about the possibilities of breathwork through the course and can feel a difference in how I connect to my body. Lorna’s softness brings comfort and safety to the sessions, where the vulnerability of personal work relies on this powerful trust. I would recommend this course to anyone who’s curious about improving their self knowledge, it’s really been worth the commitment.”
